If you have chosen your management system, you will now be able to enjoy the basic functionalities for correct risk management and the following features.

2GB of storage
Create the context of your organization
How do you create your organization's team?
In the Pirani Free plan, you will be able to create different roles in your organization, which will create, edit, or delete information in the software; you will also be able to create a group of responsible people to limit access to the information. To do so, click on the four dots on the top left side and choose the "Manage organization" option, then click on the "Roles" option.
Finally, after creating the roles, you will be able to invite your team to join your organization according to the role you assign them; this can be done by clicking on the "+" icon that appears in the top bar or by going to the "Users" option in the manage organization section.
How do you create a process structure?
In this plan, you will have the functionalities of the process section, which will allow you to register the processes, assign the type and category, describe in detail what it consists of, associate it with risks, and designate the person responsible for the process.
To create a process, go to the "Processes" section and follow these three simple steps:
First, Write a name that will allow you to identify your process in the future.
Second, choose if your process is a strategic, mission, or support process.
Third, select if the process you create is a macro-process, a process, or a sub-process. And that's it!

Important: If you have chosen one of the following management systems: AML, ISMS, or Compliance, before proceeding to risk creation, you must complete the organization context with the risk factors of each management system:
AML (Anti-Money Laundering Risk Management): in this management system, you can create the profile of your customers and counterparties in the risk factors section to monitor possible red flags. Learn more about the section here.
ISMS (Information Security Risk Management): In this management system, you can register your information assets and indicate the criticality and type of asset. Learn more about the section here.
Compliance (Regulatory Risk Management): In this management system, you can add any type of internal or external regulation that affects the organization. Learn more about this section here.
Record, assess, and mitigate risks.
How to register risks?
In this plan, you will also be able to identify all the potential threats to which your company is exposed through the AI suggestion, register your risks, classify them by their impact and frequency, associate them with process controls, and designate a risk manager.
Registering a risk in Pirani is very simple; click on the "Create my first risk" button and follow these steps:
First: Write a name that allows you to identify your risk in the future; if you need more clarity, you can use our get chat integration that suggests a risk according to the industry and process of your interest.
Second, indicate the impact that this risk may cause when it materializes.
Third: Indicates the probability of this risk occurring between improbable or possible. And that's it!

How do we define controls?
You will also be able to register all the controls necessary to prevent, detect, or correct risks to which your company is exposed and qualify them through design, execution, and soundness. In addition, you will be able to associate them with risks and assign those responsible for supervising the control.
Create your controls in Pirani as simple as this:
Step 1: Give your control a name that will allow you to identify it in the future quickly.
Step 2: Design your control: Indicate the "Type of control," the type of execution, the frequency, the percentage of documentation, if there is evidence, and if it has a responsibility assigned.
Step 3: Choose the execution of the control: Indicate if they have reported events associated with this control if the control design is effective, if the evidence is effective, and if the established time is correct.

How do we associate processes, risks, and controls?
You will be able to generate associations between the registers that have some linkage; you will be able to associate the risks to the corresponding processes, to the risk factors, and link the controls to the risks that you want to mitigate; you will also be able to associate those responsible for monitoring the register.
To do this, go to the section of your interest, for example, risks, click on the risk, then choose the type of register with which you are going to make the association; it can be processes, controls, or responsible, then click on the "Associate" button and finally click on the "+" icon of the register of interest.

How can I visualize my heat map?
Among the unique features of this plan, you will be able to have a heat map of your risks, where you will be able to visualize the risks in color quadrants (green, yellow, orange, and red) according to frequency and impact. Enter the reports section and enjoy a heat map where you can filter the report according to the date of creation and level of criticality of the risk and know the inherent and residual risks just by clicking on the risk of interest.
