With Pirani, you can design and manage your action plans exactly how you want. Our tool lets you customize every step, from start to finish. This means you can tailor your plans to perfectly fit your company's needs.
How do you create a parameterization flow?
1. Sign up on the Pirani platform and go to the sidebar. There, you will find six points that form a box; click on the "management system you want to work with." On the other side, at the top of your screen, you will see a gear icon to click on.
2. You will enter the Risk Management dashboard you want to work with. For this case study, we will work with “Operational Risk Management.” You will find two buttons: “Transversal” and “ORM.” Click on “ORM.” The tool will redirect you to the action plan flow when you click on it.
Once you have entered the action flow, you will find three predefined states: “Intermediate,” “Finished,” and “Transition.” To start managing our flow, we must go to the “Intermediate” icon and click on it. A box will open in which we must fill in the name of the flow, add a brief description (optional), and, finally, delegate a person in charge.
Let us not forget that the Pirani tool provides three options for the status of the responsible: “By user,” “By group,” or “By field.” On the other hand, the tool will allow you to assign a different color to each one to differentiate the flows. Select the dropper at the top right.
3. click on the “+” symbol to continue creating our workflow. Always assign a responsible person and add a short description if you wish. The Pirani software also allows us to create as many workflows as possible.
4. Once all workflow tasks have been completed, click the 'Finished' button to conclude the parameter settings officially. You must also assign a responsible person and provide a detailed description.
5. To continue working on building our flow, a crucial step is to assign permissions to each user. It would help to go to the initial flow where it says “initial transition.” Hover over the word mentioned, and a blue lightning bolt icon will appear. Click on it to open the permissions window. If you want to assign permissions to a single user, click “per user.”
By selecting a user, you can assign permissions to “view, create, edit, or delete” the action plan. This gives you complete control over who can do what. To enable these permissions, click on the pencil icon at the top of the window.
6. Once you have finished building your flow, go to the top right and click “save draft” and “publish” if you want to review or work on some adjustments. Go to the sidebar, click “action plans,” and select the flow name you worked on.
7. To change the user's or the flow's name, click on the name you assigned to your flow. A window will pop up on the right side, where you can modify the following: "Name," "Description," "Start or end date," and "Responsible for the action plan."
Once the flow is 100% complete, you will receive an email with a summary of all relevant information. Finally, if you would like to receive additional alerts on the status of your flows, click on the bell icon in the action plans section.
