How do ORM, ISMS, Compliance, and AML mention work?

With this update, you can involve your collaborators in events, action plans, indicators, evaluations, incidents, alerts, and rules within modules such as Operational Risk Management (ORM), Information Security (ISMS), Regulatory Compliance (Compliance), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).

In addition, the mentions are available in all plans so your team can work agilely and effectively.

Below, we explain how you can create mentions in Pirani:

How do you register a mention in events in ORM and Compliance?

Enter the ORM management system and select the “Events” module. All associated events will be displayed there. Once inside, select the event you wish to mention to the employee. A window will open on the right side of your screen.

Just so you know, in this section, you can only mention the person if it is not a materialized event because it is only available for logs. This field is conditioned to be shown only for non-events.

You can mention the person by typing @ and selecting them from the list of users in the organization. You can also add a personalized comment to provide more context.

You will receive a notification email with a detailed description of the comment and the event in which it was included.

How do I register a mention in action plans in ORM, ISMS, AML, and Compliance?

Click on the ISMS management system and select the Action Plans module to carry out a mention. Then, choose the action plan you want to work on. This will open a window on the right side of your screen. Click the “pencil” icon, and a pop-up window will appear. Select “Plan activities” and choose the activity you want to mention there.

At the bottom correct, you will find a box called Comments. Here, you have two options to mention:

  • Select the @ icon and choose the person.
  • Type it manually, starting with the @.

The tagged person will receive an email notification describing the comment and the action plan activity where he/she was mentioned.

How do you register a mention in the ORM, ISMS, AML, and Compliance indicators?

Access the ORM management system and select the “Indicators” option. Then, choose the indicator you want to modify and click “Update.” A pop-up window will open where you can add a comment.

To mention someone, use the “@” icon and select the user from the list, or type @ and select their name directly.

You can also mention activities from the activities section in Indicators. Click on the indicator icon , then in the activities section, choose the activity, and click on the comments   icon to mention it.

When the user is mentioned, he/she will automatically receive an e-mail notification with the indicator details.

 How do you register a citation in ORM, ISMS, AML, and Compliance assessments?

This can only be done once the assessment management is finalized to approve, reject, or return it.

You can go to the Evaluations module.

  • You can select the assessment you want to manage and click on it.
  • A window will open on the right side of your screen. There, select the
  •  Option “My assessments.”

Choose the assessment to work on and click the “Assessment” button.

At the bottom of the screen, you will be asked, “Do you approve, reject, or return the evaluation?”. Once you select one of these options, you can mention the person responsible.

  When you click “Continue” to approve, reject, or return, a confirmation window will appear. Once the action has been confirmed, remember that you cannot make further changes.

By clicking “Continue,” the evaluation will be completed, and a notification with the details of the action taken will be sent to the person mentioned.

 How do you register a mention in incidents in information security risk management?

In the Incidents module, the process to make a mention is similar to that of events. To do so, access the ISMS management system and select the Incidents option. 

All the associated incidents you are working on will be displayed; click the one you want to manage. Then, a pop-up window will appear on the right side of the screen, where you must click on the “pencil” icon to edit.

The mentioned user will receive an email with the details of the context of the mention.

How do I register an alert mentioned in AML?

Log in to the AML management system and select the corresponding alert. Click on the pencil icon to edit it.

A window will then open to update the alert. Click on “People/Entities,” select the alert, then click on the “note” icon to add a mention.

Upon mention, the person will receive a notification by mail with a detailed description of the context in which he/she was included.

How do you register a mention in standards in Compliance?

Click on the Compliance module and select “Standards.” Then, choose the standard you want to work on. When you select it, a window will open on the right side; select the “pencil” icon to edit.

Click on the “Numerals” module and select the numeral you want to mention. Then click on “See requirements”.

Once you select the requirement, a new window will open. Look for the “note” icon and click on it. A text box will be displayed on the right side of the screen. In this box, you can type the name of the person you wish to mention.
